Your Hosts
We (Dan and Kate Blair) are your hosts at Forest Hillside Glamping Retreat.
We have owned the property since 2015, along with our three children Devan, Quinn and Beau.
We are both born and bred in Southland, owning and managing two other businesses in the area. Kate began her ‘Sleeping Beauties’ business in 2022 which offers enchanting backyard glamping, teepees, pamper parties, bespoke picnics, softplay, bouncy castles and more, for unique celebrations. What began with just two themed tents for children's celebrations has blossomed into a haven for creating cherished memories. Our focus is on making events stress-free, unique and memorable for our clients.
Dan owns and managers our logging business which was formed in 2013.
Extending Forest Hillside Glamping to our business is an exciting endeavour. With the success of our backyard Glamping and themed events, we're eager to elevate the experience by incorporating the luxuries of Forest Hillside Glamping Retreat.
